So this summer I took a few days to visit with my best friend, Shannon. We don't get to see each other often because we live in different states. We got to hang out, but mostly I helped her make some design decisions. She wants to do some major renovation to her home of 7 years. Up until now, they have only painted and bought some furniture. So there are a lot of things she wanted to update and get done... Now decorating is not her thing. It's mine. My background is interior design and have done it professionally for 18+ years. Her thing, well, I would say it's fun and margaritas! So this blog is an idea I had to help her implement some design renovations, and in the meantime, since I just bought a new (old) home, there are many improvements that I plan to get done and would like to post, too. Shannon, this is NOT a competition! I thought we could inspire each other and while at it, make it a fun way to share all of our hard work. I don't know, maybe we can inspire someone else while we're at it. Yes, I know what your thinking... "Is it time for a margarita yet?"
